BOSTON — Officials from the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America will be gathering in Massachusetts for a national meeting.
The organization's 44th Biennial Clergy-Laity Congress is expected to draw delegates from parishes across the country to downtown Boston starting Sunday.
It runs through Thursday and will feature workshops, religious ceremonies and an appearance from Boston Mayor Marty Walsh.
The congress is responsible for the church's operations other than doctrine and canon.
It's being hosted by the church's religious leaders in Boston and will be held at the Boston Marriott Copley Place.
The theme of the gathering is "All things are possible to him who believes."
It was last held in Boston in 1988.
