About the Centennial Journal

In continued witness to our faith in America, we are currently preparing for the 46th Biennial Clergy-Laity Congress of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, which will be held this July in New York City. This Congress promises to provide unique opportunities for worship, fellowship, decision-making and strategic planning activities. This year’s Congress is quite historic as we celebrate the Centennial of our Archdiocese (1922-2022). The program of the Congress will focus on highlighting both the past and the future of our Archdiocese, as conveyed through the selected theme for the Congress: “Legacy, Renewal, Unity.”

The Congress aims to confidently guide our preparations and direct our actions toward fulfilling our sacred vocation of sharing the Gospel through our lives and the work and witness of our Orthodox communities.

Help make this historic Congress a success and show your support for the growth and future of our Parishes and the Church in America by submitting your greetings to the 2022 Centennial Commemorative Journal.

The Journal will include a brief history of the Archdiocese, its Metropolises, Parishes, Institutions, affiliated Organizations and Ministries. It will be distributed to all the registered delegates and participants during the Congress. Excerpts of the Journal will be posted on the Clergy-Laity website. The site will list all received contributions. We ask that you consider a full-page greeting. We are happy to accept electronic images.

How to Participate in the Centennial Journal

We encourage payment for participation in the Commemorative Centennial Journal online using the following web form.

Kindly fill in the form and send any copy and images you would like to be included in the journal to the following email address: [email protected] . Please review the Ad Specifications in the section below.

You may also send your donation via check for larger sponsorship amounts. Kindly make the check payable to the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. In the memo of the check, please be sure to mark “Sponsorship Centennial Journal” and send it to:

Kindly include your name, address, phone, and email in the letter and provide any copy and images that you would like to be included in the Journal.

• Full page 7.5 x 10”
• Half page 7.5 x 5”
• Quarter page 3.75 x 5”

Photos/Images:

• high resolution scans or actual photos taken (300 dpi)
• file formats jpg, tiff, or eps
• logos formats png, jpg or pdf
• Image size is best given at actual size. Don’t reduce the file down.

Note: if we receive poor quality images they will appear this way in the book.

Wording/Content:

• Provide messages and information in a Word doc or Google Docs file
• Ad requests should have contact information
