Pappas Gymnasium
His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, Geron of America, will welcome guests to campus. HCHC President Rev. Fr. Christopher Metropulos will then outline the vision of Hellenic College Holy Cross, communicating who we are and sharing our plans for the future. The session will also include a short video presentation.
Envisioning Our Future
Maliotis Cultural Center
Faculty and clergy panelists will discuss the critical role HCHC plays in ensuring a vibrant future for the Orthodox Church. Visitors will get a glimpse of the vision of how HCHC forms people holistically for a life of service for both the Church and world. They will be able to ask questions and share their own hopes for the future of HCHC, our Church, and Orthodox Christianity in America.

Bringing Theology to Life
Holy Cross Chapel
V. Rev. Archim. Maximos Constas, Senior Research Scholar at Holy Cross, will discuss why theological education is important, why everyone should support it, and how it benefits those who do support it. Dr. Lewis Patsavos, Professor of Canon Law Emeritus, will reflect on the education that has been offered thus far to generations of clergy. He will also address the challenges and tasks we face in educating future generations. A brief Q&A session will follow.
A Call for Support

Student, donor, and alumni presenters will share testimonies about how HCHC has prepared and inspired them to live a life dedicated to Orthodox Christian service. They will also discuss how financial support from individuals and parishes is essential to furthering the education and spiritual formation of the next generation of Orthodox Christian leaders.

Rethinking the MDiv Program
Pappas Gymnasium
Dr. James Skedros, Michael G. and Anastasia Cantonis Professor of Byzantine Studies and Early Christianity, and Dr. Timothy Patitsas, Assistant Professor of Christian Ethics, will discuss the Holy Cross Master of Divinity program and address ways it can and should evolve to remain relevant in our changing world, including new approaches to seminarian formation.
Stress and the Clergy

Athina-Eleni Mavroudhis, Director of the Human Development program at Hellenic College, will discuss life stress, coping styles, and health perceptions in Eastern Orthodox clergy.

His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, Geron of America, ThD, PhD, is Chairman of HCHC's Board of Trustees and formerly the full-time Distinguished Professor of Biblical Studies and Christian Origins at Holy Cross.
His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios of Boston is a graduate of both Hellenic College and Holy Cross and a member of HCHC's Board of Trustees. He served as President of HCHC from 1989 to 1995.
His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos of San Francisco is a graduate of both Hellenic College and Holy Cross and a member of the Executive Committee of HCHC's Board of Trustees. He has also served the school in past as Dean of Students and Director of Admissions and was honored in 2017 as an Alumnus of the Year.
His Eminence Metropolitan Savas of Pittsburgh is a graduate of Holy Cross and a former Chancellor of the Archdiocese. He serves on the Executive Committee of HCHC's Board of Trustees.
V. Rev. Fr. Nicholas Anctil is Presiding Priest at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in New Rochelle, NY, and a graduate of both Hellenic College and Holy Cross. He is a member of HCHC's Board of Trustees and a past President of the Archdiocesan Presbyters Council.
George Athanasiou is a graduate of both Hellenic College and Holy Cross and Secretary of HCHC's Alumni Association. He is the lay representative of the Metropolis of Pittsburgh to the Alumni Association Board and also serves on the Metropolis Youth Commission and Summer Camp Committee.
Bruce Beck, ThD, is the interim Dean of Hellenic College and Director of the College's Religious Studies Program. He is also Assistant Professor of New Testament at Holy Cross and Director of the Pappas Patristic Institute.
Ann Bezzerides, PhD, is Director of the Office of Vocation & Ministry and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at Hellenic College.
V. Rev. Archimandrite Maximos Constas, PhD, is Senior Research Scholar at Holy Cross. He is a graduate of both Hellenic College and Holy Cross.
Rev. Fr. Demetrios Costarakis is President of the HCHC Alumni Association and the pastor of St. Nicholas Church in Lexington, MA. He is a graduate of both Hellenic College and Holy Cross and serves on HCHC's Board of Trustees.
Panos Coufos has just completed his first year as a seminarian at Holy Cross.
Nicholas Ganson, PhD, is Assistant Professor of History at Hellenic College.
Rev. Fr. Nicholas Krommydas, DMin, is pastor of St. Demetrios Church in Weston, MA, and Co-Director of HCHC's Office of Spiritual Formation and Counseling Services. He is a graduate of both Hellenic College and Holy Cross.
Rev. Fr. Michael Lambakis is the Dean of Annunciation Cathedral in Houston, TX, and a graduate of both Hellenic College and Holy Cross.
Frances Levas is Director of Development in HCHC's Office of Institutional Advancement.
Rev. Fr. Jon Magoulias is the pastor of the Church of the Annunciation in Modesto, CA, and a graduate of Holy Cross. He serves on the Executive Committee of HCHC's Board of Trustees.

Rev. Fr. Christopher T. Metropulos, DMin, is President of Hellenic College Holy Cross and Professor of Parish Administration at Holy Cross. He is a graduate of both Hellenic College and Holy Cross.
Rev. Fr. Vincent Minucci is the assistant priest at St. Demetrios Church, Weston, MA. He is a graduate of both Hellenic College and Holy Cross.
Nicholas Paleologos is a mortgage banker in Worcester, MA. A graduate of Hellenic College, he serves as Treasurer of the HCHC Alumni Association.
Rev. Archdeacon Panteleimon Papadopoulos serves as Deacon to His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, Geron of America. A graduate of Holy Cross, he was honored in May as an Alumnus of the Year.
Timothy Patitsas, PhD, is Assistant Professor of Christian Ethics at Holy Cross and a graduate of the school.
Dr. Lewis Patsavos ThD, is Professor of Canon Law Emeritus at Holy Cross.
Rev. Fr. Michael Prevas is the pastor of St. Nicholas Church in Northridge, CA. He is a graduate of both Hellenic College and Holy Cross.
Jeannie Ranglas is First Vice President of the National Philoptochos Society.
James C. Skedros, ThD, is the Michael G. and Anastasia Cantonis Professor of Byzantine Studies and Professor of Early Christianity at Holy Cross, of which he is a graduate and former Dean.
Fiona Sterling received her BA from Hellenic College in 2016 with highest distinction.
Tone Svetelj, PhD, is a Lecturer of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Hellenic College and also coordinates the College's First-Year Academic Studies Program.
Rev. Fr. Demetri Tonias, PhD, is the Dean of Annunciation Cathedral in Boston and the Ecumenical Officer of the Metropolis of Boston. He is a graduate of Holy Cross and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at Hellenic College.
Rev. Fr. John Touloumes is the pastor of Holy Trinity Church in Pittsburgh, PA, and a graduate of Holy Cross. He has served as President of the Archdiocesan Presbyters Council since 2016 and is an ex officio member of HCHC's Board of Trustees.
Theodora Vaporis, Esq., is an attorney in Greensboro, NC. She is a graduate of Hellenic College and currently serves on HCHC's Board of Trustees.
