NEW YORK – The Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America and its six Agencies – IOCC, OCMC, OCF, OCPM, OVC, and OYM – engaged with the clergy and laity at the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America’s biennial congress, commemorating the centennial of the Archdiocese.
The panel discussion began with testimonials from beneficiaries of the various Agencies as well as the Assembly’s Mental Health Ministries. Following the powerful videos, representatives from each organization – including Dean Triantafiliou, Fr. Martin Ritsi, Dn. Marek Simon, Niko Petrogeorge, Kyra Limberakis, and Christen Gonzalez – engaged in dialogue with the Assembly’s Director of Operations and moderator of the panel, Nicholas Anton. Questions and answers with attendees followed the presentation portion of the event.
The two-hour session detailed the important ministry accomplishments included humanitarian work, missionary endeavors, college student outreach, prison engagement, volunteerism, youth work, and mental heath programs. A video will of the entire event will be posted in the near future.
